The educational offer encompasses 50 branches of studies, including 200 specializations run at 15 faculties and Multidisciplinary School of Engineering in Biomedicine.
Starting from the academic year 2007-2008, AGH University of Science and Technology introduces a three-tier system of education, the so-called Bologna System.
First degree (6-7 terms) finishes with receiving the degree of Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts,
Second degree (3-4 terms) finishes with receiving the degree of Master of Science or Master of Arts,
Third degree - doctoral studies - preparing students for independent research and teaching, finishes with receiving the degree of doctor.
The Bologna System of Education, aiming at creating the European Space for Higher Education, is characterized by a lot of flexibility, and allows to individualize one's programme of studies. It allows individuals to study different branches of science and specializations, and to change the main branch of studies after finishing the first-degree course. It also allows students to fully exploit the educational offer of colleges and universities in Poland and abroad. Our university enables students to gain education at the highest level, respected and appreciated in the whole world. This aim is accomplished by intensive programme of studying foreign languages, integrated studies with double diploma (from AGH UST and a university abroad), a possibility to do students' apprenticeship and training in other countries, individualization of studying programmes, constant modernization of contents and teaching methods (virtual studies), and a large studying and social base.
AGH UST also offers a possibility to study in the English language: an offer of studies in English .
AGH UST offers over 80 branches of studies at postgraduate courses.
