The AGH University Student Campus, home for students during the academic year, tourist accommodation in the summer, the largest student campus in Poland, always bustling with life. This year marks its 60th anniversary which will be celebrated during Juwenalia on 14 May.

There are plenty of highlights and special activities planned, such as:

The Campus was designed by Professor Tomasz Mańkowski from Cracow University of Technology, with the design being approved in March 1964. In the same year, the construction began and, in the following year, the first halls of residence were commissioned. The first canteen was opened in 1970 and by 1979 as many as 21 buildings intended for students were built.

At present, the Student Campus covers an area of 16 ha, and 20 halls of residence have 8000 places, including 7000 for the AGH University students with the remaining ones for other Krakow universities.
