Student Research Club Transpeed AGH awarded in Canada

The Student Research Club Transpeed AGH received an award for the best presentation in the non-technical category during the Hyperloop Global Week 2024. Their paper concerned "Economic and Environmental Feasibility of Hyperloop Deployment in Poland."

The paper was presented by Dawid Pękała, Kinga Bieniek and Wiktoria Gątkiewicz. In turn, two other members of Transpeed AGH, Paweł Domiter and Piotr Mamczura, delivered a lecture entitled "SpinLoop - Hyperloop Cargo Pods Rotational Accelerator."

Transpeed AGH brings together students interested in the Hyperloop technology, 3D-printing, logistics, and Industry 4.0. By participating in the Hyperloop Global Week 2024, the students had an opportunity to listen to lectures, watch tests, exhange experiences, and expand knowledge on cutting-edge hyperloop technologies.

Held in Toronto on 22-26 May 2024, the Hyperloop Global Week 2024 was an international event dedicated to the topic of hyperloop, gathering experts, innovators, and stakeholders from all around the globe. Within such a Hyperloop Week, the participants may join conferences, workshops, discussion panels, and more. The main aims of the Hyperloop Global Weeks are the exchange of knowledge, discussions on the development and implementation of hyperloop transportation systems, as well as networking with others in the field.
