Students who create green future

Theses by students from the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics have been recognised in a competition for eco-friendly construction by Cemex.

In the competition, students could submit bachelor's, engineering, master’s, and non-degree postgraduate theses with topics related to innovative technological and product solutions for the cement, concrete, and/or aggregate industry. 32 theses were submitted from 17 Polish universities.

The aim of this initiative is to promote the idea of sustainable construction and care for natural environment among students. The competition is supposed to encourage students to come up with novel, eco-friendly technological solutions.
