The first admissions cycle is behind us

The first admissions cycle at the AGH University has just finished. The 10 most popular fields of study, with the highest number of candidates per place, are these from the IT sector, with more than 10 people per place having applied to the Cybersecurity programme.

For the 2024/2025 academic year, the AGH University has prepared almost five thousand places in first-cycle programmes. In the first admissions cycle, over 8.5 thousand of people submitted their applications. The field of study particularly popular among foreigners this year is Computer Science, with 212 applicants per 30 places.

Candidates may register in the e-Rekrutacja system in the next admissions cycles. The future application dates are:

  • the second admissions cycle: 16–22 July,
  • the third admissions cycle: 23–29 July,
  • the fourth (and last) admissions cycle: 2–12 September.

Bonus for candidates with sports achievements

Candidates for AGH University programmes with certain sports achievements may obtain additional points.

The condition for taking advantage of such a bonus is to register in the e-Rekrutacja system and to present a certificate issued by a relevant sports association with the sports class determined, the validity period of the class, and the said sports achievements, all before the deadline for submitting the declaration of participation in a given admissions cycle.

Bonus for the best

The best candidates may count on a package of additional bonuses. To the best applicants, the university offers additional free forms of education, including courses, trainings, tutoring, as well as free accommodation in the Student Campus halls of residence, among many others. What is more, the place in the hall of residence may be free of any charges for the entire first year of studying.
