The AGH University and Atlas Ward Polska, a leader in general contracting, have concluded an agreement on strategic cooperation.
The objective of the partnership is the development and implementation of innovative solutions in construction, but also active support in the education of young engineers. The cooperation between Atlas Ward and the AGH University encompasses the initiation and implementation of innovative R&D projects with the aim to develop cutting-edge tech solutions for construction.
The agreement was signed on 17 October 2024 by AGH University Vice-Rector for Cooperation Rafał Wiśniowski; Director of the Krakow branch of Atlas Ward Piotr Nowak, and Director of Development and Innovation at Atlas Ward Łukasz Wieruszewski.
The implementation of the provisions of the agreement will lie with the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management.
As explained by AGH University Associate Professor Marek Borowski:
“The agreement entered into by the AGH University and Atlas Ward is a step forward to effectively integrate science and industry. We believe that the combination of our knowledge with practical experience of such a leading company in construction as Atlas Ward will flourish not only in innovative technological solutions, but also in actual support for the education of future engineers."
Both parties shall also cooperate on pioneer solutions in the field of sustainable development.

We are convinced that the holistic approach to technology in sciences we both share will result in the development and implementation of innovative solutions to revolutionise the sector of construction to the market,” stated Łukasz Wieruszewski, Atlas Ward.
The company has also committed to supporting AGH University students by organising traineeships, apprenticeships, scholarship programmes, and cooperating with research clubs.
