AGH University and National Property Resources to begin cooperation

On the 9th of July, The AGH University and the National Property Resources (KZN) entered into an agreement on cooperation.

The parties to the agreement declare to cooperate on:

  • carrying out R&D and scientific work,
  • activities to obtain funding for individual projects,
  • joint application and implementation of projects at national and international level,
  • publication of joint R&D and scientific output,
  • education efforts.

One of the first joint actions shall be the evaluation of the potential and possibilities for the development of selected land resources belonging to KZN.

A potential area for collaboration is research aimed at evaluating the possibility of using new sources of energy in construction, particularly in terms of social housing initiatives (SIM).

The signatories of the agreement were Łukasz Bałajewicz, President of the National Property Resources (KZN), and Professor Rafał Wiśniowski, Vice-Rector for Cooperation. The implementation of the agreement at the university lies with the Faculty of Management represented by Professor Jerzy Feliks. On behalf of the KZN, the agreement shall be carried out by the Department of Development and Analyses led by Łukasz Półchłopek.
