AGH University concludes an agreement with Poland in Silicon Valley Center for Science, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship

The AGH University, along with seven other Polish universities, has concluded an agreement on cooperation with the Poland in Silicon Valley Center for Science, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. The joint actions will concern the dissemination and publication of research results as well as the university’s cooperation with industry.

Inaugurated in July this year in California, the Poland in Silicon Valley Center for Science creates a bridge of knowledge, experiences, and resources between Polish institutions and the American Silicon Valley.

The document was signed by: AGH University Rector, Professor Jerzy Lis, and authority representatives of the University of Warsaw, Lodz University of Technology, Poznań University of Technology, Silesian University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

Held on 11 September at the University of Warsaw, the ceremony was attended by the Minister of Science, Dariusz Wieczorek, Professor Piotr Moncarz from Stanford University who heads the Poland in Silicon Valley Center, Professor Andrzej Nowak from Auburn University, Robert Grey, Chancellor of the University of Warsaw, and representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
