AGH University Rector in CRASP authorities

The AGH University Rector, Professor Jerzy Lis, has been selected Vice-President of CRASP, the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools, in Poland for the 2024–2028 term of office.

To preside CRASP in the 2024–2028 term is Professor Bogumiła Kaniewska, rector of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Professor Jerzy Lis and Professor Michał Zasada, rector of Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), have been appointed to the positions of vice-presidents.

CRASP selected its authorities at a plenary assembly on 27 June 2024 in Warsaw.

The Conference is an institution representing higher education and science community, as defined in the Polish Law on higher education and science. It was established on 7 June 1997 by 73 rectors of higher education institutions, being members of conferences of rectors of the various types of these institutions. Currently, CRASP has 110 members (including 11 non-public schools) and 8 institutions have the status of an associated institution.
