AGH University to co-host Cyberweek

The Ministry of Digital Affairs, the City of Krakow, and the AGH University have signed a letter of intent at the Economic Forum in Karpacz, in which they commit to co-hosting 'Cyberweek' in May next year in Krakow.

The organisation of the event is an initiative of the Ministry of Digital Affairs related to the Polish presidency in the European Union starting in the first half of 2025.

Cyberweek will include content-related activities for various groups of stakeholders that act for the development and support of cybersecurity in the EU.

“It is a great honour for our university to co-host the event. I am deeply convinced that it will contribute to the promotion of our staff and facilities as well as of the City of Krakow on the international cyber stage,” claims the AGH University Rector, Professor Jerzy Lis.

The letter of intent was signed by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Dariusz Standerski, Deputy Mayor of the City of Krakow, Łukasz Sęk, and AGH University Rector, Professor Jerzy Lis.
