Agreement on cooperation with OPAL-RT

The commenced on the 9th of April cooperation will concern the promotion of applying, teaching, and conducting research on the design methods based on models, simulation tools, including devices within the area of power electronics, electric power systems, and electric power networks. What will also be carried out by the parties are public-funded joint research and development projects.

The mutual obligations are to be implemented by:

• the application of OPAL-RT HIL and RCP in student projects,
• joint publication of research papers, presentations, and technical reports,
• provision of information to students on the opportunity to participate in traineeships and work at OPAL-RT and publication by OPAL-RT of job, traineeship, and apprenticeship offers on a website administered by the AGH Careers Centre,
• search for joint R&D projects.

The agreement was signed by the Vice-Rector for Cooperation, Professor Rafał Wiśniowski, and OPAL-RT’s Vice President Business Development & R&D, Dr Ravinder Venugopal.
