Expert talks on energy and environment in industrial technologies

On 18-20 September 2024 in Krynica Górska, the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials held a conference on energy and environment in industrial technologies. The event was attended by the AGH University Rector, Professor Jerzy Lis, President of the Scientific Council of the Łukasiewicz Research Network Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials.

The conference gathered renowned specialists and outstanding representatives from the world of science, business, and public administration, who held discussions on the latest technological challenges in the field of energy and environmental protection. It is worth highlighting that the participation of representatives from Polish and foreign universities in the event made for a perfect opportunity to exchange knowledge, experiences and best practices, but also to network and make contacts that may lead to innovative projects and future cooperation.

The event focused on the challenges of the building materials industry, including new technologies to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions, green and cost-effective solutions to support sustainability, and improving the profitability of the sector. Other topics included the use of waste materials, recycling, and current legislative trends.
