Our volleyball players are now the vice champions of Poland

Volleyball players from the AGH University Academic Sports Association cami in second in the Polish Academic Championship in volleyball.

Moreover, two of our players received individual distinctions – Adam Miniak was announced the best hitter, whereas Igor Oziabło the best blocker.

The team composition was as follows: Maciej Bakaj, Michał Curzytek, Jakub Dereń, Hadrian Kaźmierczak, Kacper Komar, Hubert Konefał, Jakub Kraut, Adam Miniak, Igor Oziabło, Aleksander Pilska, Maciej Świątek, Adam Świdroń, Kajetan Tokajuk, Bartłomiej Wiśniewski.

The team’s coach is Andrzej Kubacki.

The final Polish Academic Championship in women’s and men’s volleyball, organised by the Academic Sports Association Katowice, took place on 16–19 May 2024 in Katowice. The matches were played in the facilities of the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice and in Będzin Arena. Sixteen best female and male teams determined by zone eliminations competed against each other in the championship.
