AGH University third in Polish Academic Championships

The just finished season has seen competitions in 35 disciplines. The final ranking took into account 30 best achievements of a given university in competitions in which it had been classified (in the past, any results used to be taken into consideration).

The AGH University representations competed in all 47 events within the Polish Sports Championship series.

men’s snowboard, men’s Alpine skiing, men’s sport climbing

silver
men’s cross-country running, bridge, men’s volleyball, women’s 3x3 basketball, mountain biking, men’s beach volleyball

bronze
chess, women’s snowboarding, women’s indoor rowing, men’s indoor rowing, men’s swimming, women’s basketball, men’s handball, men’s 3x3 basketball

Moreover, the AGH University Academic Sports Association players were also awarded individually, two with gold, eight with silver, and 16 with bronze medals.

What stands behind the success is the training staff, lots of training, hard work, and the strive to win.
