On the 1st of September 2024, Professor Wojciech Łużny became the president of the Accreditation Commission of Universities of Technology (KAUT).
KAUT is a local commission whose purpose is to enhance the quality of education at Polish technical universities. It consists of representatives of 25 technical universities, signatories to the KRPUT agreement on education quality assurance, and a representative of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities (KRPUT). The aim of the document is to improve the quality of education, create clear and unambiguous procedures for evaluating the conditions and methods of education and study programmes, taking into account the systems used in other countries, particularly the members of the European Union, create conditions facilitating national and international student exchanges, and promote fields of study that meet high quality standards.
