Each year, the AGH University Academic Computer Centre CYFRONET organises an open day for the local academia. This time, the open day is held on 25 November in the AGH University Assembly Hall.

Presentations on the agenda

  • CYFRONET’s operations and information on the equipment, software, and implemented projects,
  • the latest developments in computer and network architecture, including Quantum Computing (QC) resources,
  • computational capacity of supercomputers, their applications in the analysis of research results, simulations, visualisations, and parallel analysis of big data, also in the context of AI.

As always, the authors of the best doctoral theses implemented with the use of computational resources of the Academic Computer Centre CYFRONET will present the effects of their work.

The Open Day is a perfect opportunity for discussions, exchanging knowledge, and meetings of CYFRONET users and employees and representatives of companies who supply the Centre with equipment and software.
