Postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan College of Engineering

The fellowship is funded by the Anatole S. and Pamela D. Dekaban Fund, which has decided to grant one AGH UST employee each year a post-doc fellowship in engineering disciplines at the University of Michigan College of Engineering in Ann Arbor.

One of the conditions to meet when applying for the fellowship is to establish contact with the candidate’s future mentor who must be a professor at the UM.

Additional criteria for candidates include:

• A research field that corresponds to the area of research activity at the UM College of Engineering
• Doctor’s degree in technical sciences
• Employee status as an associate professor at the AGH UST and a return plan
• Fluency in English

The total sum of the fellowship is USD 56,700 for a year, including flights for the fellow and their family (if they choose to take them), 75% of a mandatory health insurance costs.

The fellowship is scheduled to start in February 2023.
