Employee opinion survey on gender equality at AGH University

Employee opinion survey on gender equality at AGH University

The team appointed by the AGH University Rector, Professor Jerzy Lis, is currently preparing for an update of the Gender Equality Plan (GEP), a document in line with the European Commission guidelines. In order to prepare a Plan that is adequate to the needs and specifics of the AGH University, and also consistent with the requirements of the European Commission, the first step is to conduct a survey on the beliefs, attitudes, and experiences of people working at our University regarding equal treatment. Therefore, Rector Jerzy Lis kindly asks the AGH University staff to participate in the survey which will constitute the basis for the development of the plan of actions for gender equality at the AGH University.

Note: You may fill out the survey from 23 to 29 October.

The survey's implementation and result processing methods ensure complete anonymity for all respondents. The survey is addressed to people employed at the AGH University. All questions are related to work and employment at the AGH University. The Team for the GEP strongly encourages everyone to participate, as each opinion is highly valued. Please answer honestly and feel free to add any additional comments at the end of the survey.

In case of any questions related to the survey, please contact AGH University Associate Professor Katarzyna Leszczyńska, chairperson of the Team for the Gender Equality Plan at the AGH University (email: gep(at)agh.edu.pl; kaleszcz(at)agh.edu.pl).

The purpose of the GEP is to develop standards for equalising opportunities for females and males at universities, and to counteract manifestations of discrimination and prejudice based on various factors, such as disability, gender, or age. In light of the European Commission's guidelines, such measures are necessary and and a condition for applying for EU funds, such as Horizon.
