23 December to 1 January – winter holidays (Christmas break)
28 January to 12 February – winter examination session – regular term
13 February to 19 February – winter examination session – resits
20 February to 26 February – inter-semester break

* November 2, 2022 – classes take place according to the Monday schedule. On December 22, 2022 and January 23, 2023 – classes take place according to the Friday schedule

Summer semester

27 February to 30 September

27 February to 5 July – summer semester classes**
6 April to 12 April – spring holidays (Easter break)
5 June to 11 June – no classes***
6 July to 16 July – summer examination session – regular term
17 July to 25 August – summer holidays
26 August to 15 September – summer examination session – resits****

** Due to the III European Games 2023 ogranised in Krakow between June 12 and July 5, 2023, classes are held online, whereby between June 29 and July 5, 2023 is intended for make-up classes, should the need arise; summer semester classes are to be scheduled accrodingly, so that they can be held online

*** No classes due to the European Games, as the university co-organises the event

**** In the summer examination session – resits: there can be two resit dates

Public holidays (no classes): 1 November 2022, 11 November 2022, 6 January 2023, 1 May 2023, 3 May 2023, 8 June 2023

Additional days off (no classes): 31 October 2022, 2 May 2023

The period between September 16 and 30, 2023, is intended for carrying out activities related to the conclusion of the academic year 2022/2023 and the beginning of the academic year 2023/2024.
