Two research projects that are to be implemented by doctoral students from the AGH UST Doctoral School as doctoral dissertations have received funding from the PRELUDIUM BIS 3 competition organised by the National Science Centre.
Projects from the AGH UST:
The PRELUDIUM BIS competition is intended to provide educational and financial support to doctoral students by funding their research projects implemented as part of their doctoral dissertations. The competition also supports international mobility of doctoral students who are obliged to take part in a research internship abroad, financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
The research team participating in the PRELUDIUM BIS competition is usually made up of two people: a supervisor who leads the project and a doctoral student. The latter will join the respective teams after the admission procedures to doctoral schools for the academic year 2022/2023.
The third edition of this competition has attracted 228 scientists who applied for funding. Grants, the total sum of which is more than PLN 55 million, will be allocated between 97 applicants. The money can be spent on research activities, doctoral scholarships, and remuneration for supervisors.
