The first weekend of April saw the finals of the Polish Academic Championships in three disciplines. The athletes of the AGH University Academic Sports Association did very well, winning team silver medals in cross-country running and sport bridge.

Bronze for the AGH University in the team tournament was won by: Marta Ziętal, Maciej Kędzierski, Paweł Skrzypek, Jakub Lenkiewicz.
The number of our medals grew also thanks to Agata Pontek, winner of the bronze medal in judo in the 63 kg weight class.
The Polish Academic Championships in cross-country running was joined by 650 students from 55 universities who fought against each other running a distance of 3 and 6 km (women) and 4.5 and 9 km (men) but also in a mixed 4 x 1.5 km relay. The event was organised by the Stanisław Staszic State University of Applied Sciences in Piła.
The Polish Academic Championships in sport bridge took place in Szczecin, with almost 200 participants from 23 universities competing in pairs and teams. The competition was organised by the Academic Sports Association of the University of Szczecin.
Meanwhile, the judokas were hosted by the city of Gdańsk. As many as 300 representatives of 61 higher education institutions competed in the event organised by the Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport and its Academic Sports Association.
