MINIATURA 8 grant for another AGH University researcher

Dr Przemysław Nosal from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics has been recognised in the MINIATURA 8 call for a single research activity.

The grant of PLN 22,550 will make it possible for the academic to go on a consultation trip related to the development of an elasto-plastic model based on the Cosserat theory with the use of peridynamics.

The main objective of MINIATURA is to finance research activities for the purposes of future research projects to be submitted to NCN calls for proposals as well as other national and international calls. In the 8th edition of the grant competition, one could obtain funding in the amount varying from PLN 5,000 to 50,000, all for a scientific activity taking up to 12 months. The catalogue of financed actions comprises preliminary/pilot studies, library and archive searches, fellowships, research visits and/or consultations.

The third MINIATURA 8 ranking list includes 64 people who are to carry out scientific activities worth PLN 2,482,032.
