MINIATURA 8 fourth round

Dr Krystian Mateusz Zyguła from the Faculty of Metals Engineering and Industrial Computer Science is yet another AGH University scholar to benefit from the MINIATURA 8 grant. The National Science Centre has just announced its fourth ranking list.

The researcher will receive PLN 30,360 for preliminary/pilot research devoted to the thermodynamic analysis and kinetics of in-situ reaction during ultrasound titanium dioxide atomisation with B4C [PL:Analiza termodynamiczna i kinetyka reakcji in-situ podczas atomizacji ultradźwiękowej proszku tytanu z dodatkiem B4C].

The research activity within MINIATURA 8 may be carried out in the form of preliminary/pilot studies, library and archive searches, fellowships, research visits and/or consultations. The main objective of the grant is to finance research activities by researchers who have not had any previous experience in managing research projects on their own. Carrying out an activity within MINIATURA 8 is supposed to help in the preparation of research objectives for a project, for the funding of which researchers will be able to apply in the National Science Centre’s calls, as well as other national and international competitions.

In the 8th edition of the call for applications researchers could obtain funding in the amount of PLN 5,000 to 50,000 for a research activity to be carried out over a period of up to 12 months. The total budget for this year’s edition of the grant is PLN 20 million. The fourth ranking list includes 95 researchers.
