Streszczenie

The fear that AI could "take over" our way of living is a common concern presently, and it's often associated with the concept of artificial general intelligence (AGI), which refers to AI systems that can perform any intellectual task that a human being can in a more superior way. There are still no AGI present, but recent advances may produce a lot of concerns. However, the fear of AI taking over stems from potential future scenarios where AI becomes highly autonomous, surpasses human intelligence and gain mechanical platforms of some sort to provide mobility. Concerns include loss of control, unintended consequences, and ethical considerations. It's essential for researchers, policymakers, and developers to prioritize safety and ethical guidelines in AI development. This is tricky, because may lead to strong biases on its own.

Many experts and organizations are actively working on addressing these concerns and promoting responsible AI development. This should be treated as one of the greatest challenges our civilisation faces at this moment. Discussions around AI ethics, transparency, accountability, and governance are crucial to ensuring that AI technologies are developed and used in ways that benefit humanity without causing harm. Also, equal access to the high quality benchmark data sets, software and hardware is crucial. Anyway, it's important for us, as society, to stay vigilant, engage in informed discussions, and establish frameworks to guide the responsible development and deployment of AI technologies. Ongoing research and open dialogue will be key to addressing these concerns and shaping a positive future for AI.
